Privacy notice

This notice explains what personal data festlane.live collects, why we collect it and what you can ask us to do with it. We keep it short, because the website only collects what it needs to reply to you.

1. Who we are

Festlane is operated by Makro Agency Kft. (registered office: Belgrád rakpart 18. 2. em. 14., 1056 Budapest, Hungary; company registration number: 01-09-425030; tax number: 32456589-2-41). Makro Agency Kft. is the controller of the personal data described here.

For anything related to your data, write to bence@festlane.live.

2. What we collect

• Contact form: whether you are a venue operator or an investor or partner, your name, email address, venue or organisation (optional), your message and your agreement to be contacted.
• Emails you send us directly, with the details you choose to include.
• Visit statistics: aggregated counts of page views, referring websites, device types and countries. They are collected without cookies and without storing IP addresses, so they cannot identify you.
• Technical logs: IP address, browser and request details kept by our hosting provider for security, for up to 30 days.

This website does not ask for payment details. The Festlane ordering platform that guests use at venues is a separate service and is not part of this website.

3. Why we use it and our legal basis

• Replying to your message and discussing a benchmark event, a partnership or an investment: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).
• Visit statistics that show us how the website is used: our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)). The data is aggregated and anonymous.
• Security and spam prevention: our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).
• Records we must keep by law: legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).

We do not send newsletters or marketing emails from this website, and we never sell your data.

4. Who processes data for us

• Netlify, Inc. (United States): website hosting and storage of contact form messages. Netlify filters form spam with Akismet, a service of Automattic Inc. (United States).
• Plausible Insights OÜ (Estonia, with infrastructure in Germany): cookieless visit statistics, counted through our own domain.
• Hostinger International Ltd. (Cyprus): email hosting for festlane.live, where form notifications and your emails arrive.

Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

5. How long we keep it

• Contact form messages and emails: two years after our last contact. If we start working together, the records of that work are kept as long as the law requires.
• Visit statistics: only aggregated counts are kept.
• Security logs: up to 30 days.

6. Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, a copy of it, its correction or deletion, the restriction of its processing, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest or ask for your data in a portable format. Write to bence@festlane.live and we will answer within one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.

You can also lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH, 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9–11., www.naih.hu) or with the supervisory authority of the EU country where you live or work, and you can turn to the courts whether or not you file a complaint.

7. Cookies and browser storage

This website sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. Visit statistics are counted without cookies, and the film plays from our own domain.

8. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when the website or the services we use change. The version and date at the top always show the current text.
